I like that it brews the tea before going into the pitcher. Most teamakers do not allow the tea to stay in the water long enough to brew itself and you can taste the difference. They need to bring this one back permanently as they are really hard to find and way too expensive for a teamaker when you do find one.

This is the worst ice tea maker I have ever owned from Mr Coffee. They had a great design and made it complicated. Have not had that long and it is not functioning properly. It is leaving water in the basket and cutting off before it finishes perking. My last one cost $19.99 and worked great. This cost $61.00 and does not work.
