Had to buy this to replace the one that came with my Espresso machine. I think it is over priced, but considering it goes with my expensive machine I had no choice. Just wish it was made out of better material. Had to buy a new one bc the limescale water here in TX had made the line were it sucks the milk up to be smaller so it wasn't frothing very well. Still wish having to replace it didn't cost me $40.

This is a great device for automatic milk frothing for Lattes or Capuccinos. The only caution is you should follow the manufacturer's instruction for cleaning. If you keep refilling the carafe with fresh milk and storing it in the refrigerator, the unit will still work, but eventually the orifices and the round part start getting a build up of milk fat. if you clean it thoroughly at least twice a week, you should be fine.

The only thing that is a problem is the decals printed on the side to indicate amounts and drink type. These are in a colour that is camouflaged and very difficult to see, even when wearing my glasses. Would recommend the colour and size of these printed icons are changed so that they become readable without a magnifying glass.
