How do I use eufy Wi-Fi module?
eufy Wi-Fi Module needs to be used with eufy NVR. It connects to the NVR’s back panel interface via the included USB-C cable.
How do I pair a new eufy Wi-Fi camera to my NVR via a Wi-Fi module?
Ensure eufy Wi-Fi module is connected to the NVR and the indicator light of the module is solid blue. Use the eufy app to pair Wi-Fi cameras normally by scanning the Quick Response code. During the pairing process, select “Pair to eufy NVR.”
How do I switch a Wi-Fi camera tethered to HomeBase 2 / 3 to an NVR?
Please ensure your NVR is paired to the eufy app. Tap the NVR icon on the homepage and select “Switch Device and Videos.” Only devices linked to HomeBase 2 / HomeBase 3 support one-click migration. Update unsupported devices before migrating.
What devices are currently supported by eufy Wi-Fi Module?
Currently, eufy Wi-Fi Module only supports a limited selection of Wi-Fi cameras, indoor cameras, floodlight cameras, video doorbells, and sensors. Please refer to the Wi-Fi Module sales page for a complete list of supported devices.
What is the maximum number of Wi-Fi cameras that eufy Wi-Fi Module can support?
The access capacity of eufy Wi-Fi Module is limited by the number of channels (16 channels) of the NVR itself. For a Wi-Fi camera that is on 24/7 and outputs streams continuously, a maximum of 4 cameras can be connected to the NVR.
Seamless Integration with the eufy Ecosystem: Instantly connect your NVR PoE System with eufy battery Wi-Fi cameras and sensors, enabling all-around home and business security in one centralized hub.
Unified Device Management: Manage and record up to 16 Wi-Fi cameras and 32 sensors through one NVR for stress-free, scalable security across multiple networks and large areas.
Unlock NVR Features for Wi-Fi Cameras: When connected via the Wi-Fi Module, your Wi-Fi cameras gain access to powerful NVR functions, including smart video search, built-in local storage, enhanced AI recognition, and app or web control.
Plug-and-Play Simplicity: No complicated configuration—just connect, pair, and enjoy expanded functionality—perfect for upgrading your eufy system.
One-Click Migration for Easy Transfer: Effortlessly migrate your existing Wi-Fi cameras from HomeBase 3 or HomeBase 2 to the NVR—no need to re-pair or reset devices. Simply switch devices in the eufy Security app and continue using your cameras as before, now enhanced with NVR capabilities.
Note: Before using the Wi‑Fi Module to pair devices for the first time, please wait a few minutes for the module to complete updates until the status light turns solid blue. Ensure your NVR firmware is V1.3.1.8 or above and your App version is App V6.0.00 or above.
