I bought this as a gift, but I also purchased one for myself. It is an amazing coffee maker. The ease of use is AMAZING! The fact that you get a pipeing hot cup of coffee in 10 seconds is beyond comprehension. The only difficulty is choosing to right kind of coffee to fit your tastebuds, and there are soooo many from cocoa's to teas, to flavored coffees to different roasts of coffee. I'm a fan of dark roast coffee and I have 10 different types. The coffee maker is simple to use. You fill it with FILTERED water(for best results, flavor and having to clean it less often), turn it on, select a k-cup(pod), insert it in the holder and close the handle. Three lights will blink(6,8 &10oz cup size- they're NOT labeled), make sure you have a mug under the spout. Press one of the 3 buttons and be prepared to be amazed. I've had many discussions with different owners as to keeping it on all the time or turning it on as needed. I don't mind waiting the 2 minutes for water to heat while I get out the half and half and feed the dog.
