𝟏𝟎𝐦𝐦 𝐃𝐲𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐮𝐛𝐰𝐨𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐫: The Astral utilizes an in-house 10mm bioceramic diaphragm dynamic driver. Our custom diaphragm material provides excellent thump in the low sub-bass frequencies that smoothly transition into a lush bass. The bass has been tuned to accommodate the unique characteristics of this driver, and features a slightly smoother transition from the bass into the mids, with a rolling cutoff at 300Hz.

This modification allows uniform integration with our midrange driver, and extends the ultra-treble frequencies without any shrill or harshness. With better treble extension and greater drive efficiency than other driver types, our new tweeter redefines balanced armature performance.

This transition eliminates any disjointment between a typical bass shelf and the midrange. The treble follows the tonal signature of some of the world’s best renown stage IEMs, with a perfect 2.8kHz peak that slowly rolls off into the upper treble. We have extended this roll off to be slower and more uniform until 15kHz, which extends the upper frequency reach, while staying natural and comfortable to listen to.
