Our unique Early-Alert Alarm System detects the standing up process and notifies you right on time, before your patient or loved one is already out of the bed.

You’ll be able to rest easy, especially in the middle of the night, knowing you can get there before they fall.

Easy to Install and Prevent Falls Step 1 – Initial Set Up

First put the batteries into the monitor and loop the bands through the clips and eyelets on the pad.

Before you attach the pad to the bed pull back the sheet and turn the pad ON by opening the transmitter pocket.

If using a king-sized bed or a bed with only one side to exit, set the pad to TX-only and place it on one side of the bed. NEVER SET IT IN THE MIDDLE!If using a twin-sized bed, with loved one exiting the bed from both sides of the bed, set the pad to Both-sides.

Step 2 – Pair the Pad with the Monitor

Next turn ON the monitor and press the “PAIR” button on the monitor until the status LED light turns a steady green. Make sure to complete the pairing before the lights turns off!

Then press and release the center zone of the pad to pair it with the monitor. The Status LED light won’t be steady anymore and the Sensor 1 red LED light will blink once to indicate it has been recorded.

Step 3 – Secure the Pad to the Bed

Position the sensor pad across the bed beneath where the hips of the patient will be, and make sure the neck of the pad is hanging off the edge of the mattress.

Then secure the pad to the bed, using the clips and rubber bands. Pull the bands tight so the pad will have minimal movement, which greatly reduces false alarms.

Last cover the bed pad with the fitted sheet.

TROUBLESHOOTING Where to Place the Pad to Avoid False Alarms

Ensure the bed pad is placed at hip height and on the EXIT side of the bed. Ensure the pad is secured to the mattress using the included elastic bands and clips. Secure the clips to the edge of the mattress and to the middle of the mattress, then place a fitted sheet over the pad.

TROUBLESHOOTING How to Clear the Monitor Memory & Re-Pair Your Device to Avoid False Alarms

To unpair previously paired devices, or if a device is not working properly, please clear the memory. To do so, hold both PAIR and STOP buttons until the Status LED light blinks fast 3 times (it should take around 5-6 seconds). Now repeat Step 1 and Step 2 to pair your device(s) once again.

How can I prevent false alarms?

Place the alarm at hip level directly on top of a flat mattress on the exit side of the bed (but below a fitted sheet) and securely fix it with the provided clips and bands to prevent the pad from moving. Watch the instructional video for steps

What bed sizes is this alarm compatible with?

You can use this bed alarm for most US bed sizes: Twin, Double, Queen, King

How can I clear the memory and re-pair the pager device?

To clear the memory first, hold both PAIR and STOP buttons until the Status LED light blinks fast 3 times (it should take around 5-6 seconds). Then pair the devices once again following the instructions in the manual or on the listing

What is the battery life?

The pager needs 2 AA batteries, which can be replaced when necessary (depending on the usage). The batteries in the sensor pad cannot be replaced and have a life span of around 15 months after it is turned ON for the first time

What is the range of the pager device?

We measured in open spaces, and it should cover a minimum of 400 feet (122 meters). Note that indoors, the building layout and materials will affect the distance you can receive.
