Long-time friends, Eijiro Tsukada and Oki Hatta put their minds together and created an innovative at-home matcha system that uses high-quality, organic matcha leaves from Japanese tea farmers.

We engineered this machine to maximize matcha freshness and to reproduce the qualities of a traditional stone mill and bamboo whisk. Our shade-grown organic matcha leaves are sustainably farmed by small families in the traditional tea-growing regions of Japan. Our Matcha Maker and tea leaves are integral parts of a functioning whole, resulting in a cup of freshly-ground matcha every time.

Easy for anyone to use

Just pour leaves into the hopper, fill the whisking cup with water, select the strength you want and push start. You get the highest-quality, freshest matcha every time.

Under 20 micrometers

Strong ceramic mill components and a complex groove pattern use high pressure equivalent to a traditional 130-pound granite mill, in order to make a fine matcha powder.

For hand-whisking and baking

We’ve included a grind-only function so you can have freshly-ground matcha for ceremonial use, baking and garnishing.

Certified organic

We’re proud to work with Japanese tea farmers dedicated to high-quality organic tea production. No chemical fertilizers and no chemical pesticides were used on our leaves. Our matcha has been OCO-certified organic since 2011. (Last renewed on June 17, 2022)
